Port-au-Prince, July 2, 2025.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs (MAEC) announces a news that revives the hope of many Haitian bachelors: the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco makes available 60 university scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026. This offer, the result of cooperation between the two countries, opens the way for higher quality training abroad in one of the most dynamic countries in the Maghreb.
The scholarships are intended for Haitian youth who completed their secondary education in 2024. To apply, applicants must be under the age of 23 at the time of filing. They will also have to justify a minimum general average of 6.00 out of 10 and present the necessary academic documents, including the graduation diploma, transcripts, and the final school report.
In addition to these school documents, applicants must provide an extract from the records of their birth certificate, a medical certificate issued by a public health centre, a blank criminal record and, of course, a valid passport. All documents must be legalized before departure to Morocco for successful candidates.
Applications will be received exclusively online via the Ministry's official website at the following address: https://mae.gouv.ht/bourses-detude/
The deadline for submission of applications is set at Tuesday 15 July 2025. After this period, no requests will be accepted.
In the same vein, the admission examinations, scheduled for Saturday 19 July at 10 am, will not only take place in Port-au-prince. For the first time, the authorities decided to extend the geographical coverage by organizing the events simultaneously in three other major provincial cities: Cap-Haitien, Les Cayes and Miragoâne. An initiative welcomed by several observers as a step towards better accessibility for candidates living outside the capital.
