Labodri, September 15, 2025.– Following the 12 September massacre in Labodri, a town between Cabaret and Arcahaie, which claimed the lives of some 40 civilians, the Primature reacted by means of a press release. It expresses its deep outrage at this tragedy and reaffirms its determination to restore security throughout the national territory.

This Monday, September 15, three days after the attack, the government urgently convened the High Command of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to assess the situation and define a security response.

Among the measures announced:

– Deployment of specialized units to secure the area;
– Strengthening the police presence around Cabaret, Arcahai and surrounding areas;
– Launch of targeted operations to neutralize the gangs involved;
– Provision of medical, psychological and humanitarian support to affected families.

Despite these announcements, scepticism remains within the population, often scalded by government promises that remain unanswered. On the same day, in Liancourt, Lower Artibonite, a violent gang attack « Gran Grif » forced the police to abandon their positions. The police station was then set on fire, once again symbolizing the State's inability to protect its infrastructure and citizens.

The government, however, reiterates its total commitment to overcoming insecurity, ensuring that gangs will never dominate the state. He claims that the Republic will not negotiate with the criminals and will stand up in the face of terror.
