Fleury-Mérogis, July 16, 2025.- The nugget of Haitian women's football, Lourdjina Étienne, has just signed a two-year contract with the club Franculien, FC Fleury 91, playing in first division in France (D1 Arkema).
After several months of internship with European clubs, Haitian striker, newly 18 years old, is preparing to make her debut in one of the prestigious French women's competitions, officially signing her first professional contract on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. But the amount of the contract was not revealed.
In February 2024, she dominated the CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship, winning the tournament's Best Goaler title. His performance was applauded, appreciated and distinguished on the international stage throughout this tournament, scoring eight goals in five games.
Trained at the Association Sportive Tigresses (AS Tigresses), a Haitian women's football club founded by Yves Jean-Bart and based in Port-au-Prince, Lourdjina Étienne will have the privilege of working to float the bicolor Haitian in the city of Fleury-Mérogis, in France, alongside his compatriot Batcheba Louis.
