Port-au-Prince, January 18, 2026.- On Sunday, 18 January, the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Women's Rights (MCFDF) held the second day of its strategic retreat at Hotel Montana, dedicated to the development of the Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2026.
Exchanges began with an intervention on the 2025 AWP. This presentation was made by the Director of the Study and Programming Unit, Eugénie Lyberal.
Subsequently, Hemanex Gonzague Désir, coordinator of the Minister's office, detailed the actions planned to strengthen women's political commitment.
In the electoral context, Mr. Mosler Georges highlighted the ministry's strategic priorities, while a presentation was made on the future institutional website, still in the design phase.
The day concluded with workshops aimed at identifying the basic needs of central and departmental structures in order to better integrate actions to protect and promote the rights of women and girls throughout the country into the AWP 2026.
