Ottawa, April 20, 2026.- Three Haitian students marked the 10th edition of the artistic contest « CCNB on stage », taking the first three places at the final held at the Carrefour de la Mer, Caraquet, New Brunswick, on April 11, 2026.

Julvencia Bernard, registered in Management and Administration Techniques at Bathurst campus, won the first prize, accompanied by a $1,000 scholarship. Her poignant slam, « Dad, I lost my childhood », seduced the jury by its sincerity and emotional intensity. The student said she delivered a deeply personal performance, carried by her experience.

Second place returned to Jeasdley, a student in Networking and Computer Security at the same campus, who performed « For all these reasons I love you » (d) Enrico Macias. His performance earned him a $500 scholarship, as well as public admiration, to whom he sent a message of pride by highlighting the unity of Haitian participants.

Rose Andrine Jean Baptiste, also in Networking and IT Security, but at the Dieppe campus, completed this 100% Haitian podium. She won third place and a $250 scholarship thanks to her interpretation of « When you only love » by Jacques Brel, realized with passion and commitment.

This unprecedented trip illustrates the dynamism and talent of Haitian youth in the Canadian diaspora, confirming its growing place in the student cultural scene.
