Jacmel, 25 July 2025.- Jacmel City Council informs the public that a day off is declared for Monday, July 28, 2025, on the occasion of the celebration of the 327th anniversary of the founding of the city.
Placed under the theme « Jacmel, a city, a history », this celebration aims to honour the history and heritage of this emblematic city of the Southeast. In this sense, public and private administrations will be unemployed in that department, according to municipal directives.
In this notice signed by Mayor Loudie César, the Town Hall encourages the population to make this date a moment of unity, solidarity and cohesion. It invites citizens to become actively involved in the activities planned for this historic anniversary.
Jacmel, a city of art and culture, continues to strengthen its identity while bringing together its population around its founding values.
