Cap-Haitien, November 24, 2025.- The Directorate of Civil Pension (DPC), attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), organized this Monday, November 24 a day of information on the retirement of public officials, bringing together officials from the five departments of the Great North. The purpose of the event was to present the Public Officer Retirement Plan (PARP) and to address the main concerns of participants.
The experts and technicians of the CPD detailed the essential concepts: age of departure, years of contribution, rights and duties, as well as the documents to be provided. Placed under the theme « Understanding retirement: meaning, preparedness and challenges », the meeting focused on individual support provided by a Liquidator Agent, in line with the institution's slogan: « Inform, Accompany and Advisor ».
At the end of the day, the CPD reaffirmed its commitment to bring the administration closer to public officials and to create a culture of preparation for retirement. Participants felt that this initiative should be replicated in other regions to ensure the right to information for all public servants.
