Rabat, 26 July 2025.- Nigeria has just won for the tenth time in its history the final of the 2024 African Women's Nations Cup, winning 3-2 against Morocco on Saturday 26 July 2025 at the Rabat Olympic Stadium.
Leading 2-0 (G. Chebbak , 12′), S. Mssoudy (24′), Nigeria marked history with an effective attack that was able to change the situation. The Super Falcons spoiled the dream of the Altlas Lions, who reached the final step of the women's CAN, three after their first final lost against South Africa.
It should be noted that this tenth sacre is the work of a dynamic team and especially with the spectacular goals of E. Okorunkwo (64′, P) G.F Ijamilusi (71′) and J. Echegini (88′).
