Brussels, 14 November 2025.- Erasmus + 2026 looks forward to an open and promising future; With a budget of more than EUR 5 billion, officially allocated by the European Commission on Thursday 13 November 2025, this momentum aims to strengthen academic mobility, support ambitious educational partnerships and develop the skills essential for tomorrow's jobs.
The European Commission has announced the opening of the Erasmus+ call for proposals for the year 2026, confirming one of the largest financial envelopes, a first since the launch of this programme. Through this funding, the EU wants to consolidate its ambition: to facilitate the flow of students and trainers, to encourage transformational partnerships and to prepare European societies for possible professional, technological and climate change.
According to the official announcements, the focus is on practical training, cultural openness and the acquisition of international experiences capable of improving the employability of participants.
