Port-au-Prince, September 6, 2025.- Huawei, in collaboration with its partner TalkPool, brought together several actors from the energy sector at the NH El Rancho hotel around the theme « FusionSolar : A Home That Always Shines ». The aim was to present clean and sustainable energy solutions, with a particular focus on solar energy.
The FusionSolar system, at the heart of this meeting, was presented as an innovation capable of ensuring continuous power supply, even in the event of network instability. Beyond the simple production of solar electricity, the technology incorporates an intelligent management system to optimize the use of energy and ensure stable power supply to households and businesses.
According to Le Nouvelliste, the solution includes state-of-the-art photovoltaic panels, efficient storage devices, and an automated management system.
Experts presented in Haiti the Fusion Solar Residential Smart PV technology, developed by Huawei with TalkPool, as an effective alternative to electricity access problems. This scheme is part of a transition to more accessible and reliable renewable energies for Haitian people.
Bernard Yacoub, Director for the Americas at Talkpool, presented the solution « FusionSolar Residential Smart PV » as a technology capable of optimizing the production of solar energy in homes while ensuring system safety. Thanks to optimisers installed on each panel, the system would generate up to 30% more electricity than conventional installations.
In a presentation relayed by Le Nouvelliste, Hernando Herales, Program Manager at TalkPool, highlighted the performance of the proposed hybrid system: modular energy storage from 5 to 30 kWh, complete discharge possible, easy expansion with several modules or paralleling of two systems. Integrated inverter ensures a maximum power of 5 kW during the day, while ensuring optimal charging of batteries for night power.
Herales also highlighted Talkpool's turnkey solutions, combining generators, batteries, solar panels and accompaniment services (design, installation, maintenance), specifically adapted to rural and urban areas in emerging markets.
Evenson Calixte, Managing Director of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANARSE), welcomed this initiative, calling for greater involvement of the private sector and foreign investors. He recalled that approximately eight million Haitians do not yet have access to electricity and stressed the need to offer competitive and affordable solutions. He also mentioned ongoing projects, including the Caracol solar power plant, and encouraged stakeholders to focus on regions beyond the capital.
