Port-au-Prince, 29 August 2025.- The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) published the partial results of the 9th Basic Year 2025 exams for eight departments. Performance varies greatly: while the North (96.54%) and the West (95.16%) have almost excellent rates, the Northwest has the lowest score with 54.19% success.
According to data from the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE), the best results are obtained in the North (17,852 admitted out of 18,491 candidates) and the West (65,810 admitted out of 69,160). Great Anse (93.74%), South (91.22%), North-East (87.35%) and Artibonite (86.01%) are also performing well.
On the other hand, the Northwest has a rate of concern of 54.19 per cent (5,840 admitted out of 10,776 participants). The Nippes, with 72.49% success (6 251 admitted out of 8,623), remain below the national average.
The MENFP informed that the results for the Centre and South-East will be published shortly. School principals are invited to withdraw the list from their school from their departmental department.
