Friday, August 29, 2025.- The State University of Haiti (UEH) officially launches its football club, « HEU FC », with a Student Football Marathon scheduled for August 30 and 31, 2025 in Delmas, to detect talent and promote university sport.
The Rectorate, via the Directorate of Student Life (DVE), announces this major sporting initiative that will bring together the various university entities. The main objective is to form the official men's team of UEH FC, which will represent the university in university, national and international competitions.
The Marathon will take place at Parc Sainte Claire, Petite Place Cazeau, Delmas 33 (extended). Interested students must come closer to the sports manager of their entity in order to know the criteria and modalities of participation. This first phase is exclusively dedicated to male selection.
The event aims to promote university sport as a vehicle for discipline, cohesion and outreach. It will also strengthen community spirit and enhance student talent beyond classrooms. The DVE reaffirms its commitment to the development of promising young athletes.
The official launch of UEH FC and the Student Football Marathon symbolize the UEH's commitment to sport and talent training. The Rectorate invites the entire student community to participate actively and contribute to the success of this collective initiative.
