Acuena, November 5, 2025.- For his first participation in the International Arts Fair of the Americas, held in Cuenca, Ecuador, Haiti marked the minds thanks to the talent of the artisans of the Village of Noailles, in Croix-des-Bouquets.

From October 28 to November 4, the masters of the Haitian cut metal exhibited works made from recycled materials, hailed for their creativity, finesse and expressive power. Each piece reflected the cultural identity and resilience of the Haitian people, inspiring the enthusiasm of visitors, according to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The success was immediate: the majority of the works were sold, and new perspectives opened up for artists, including collaborations with galleries, collectors and members of the Haitian diaspora in Ecuador.

The event, which brought together creators from several Latin American countries, even attracted the attention of Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa, confirming the diplomatic and artistic scope of the fair.

Haitian participation was made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, UNESCO and ADAAC, as part of a programme to promote the artisans of Noailles.

This success confirms the growing place of Haitian art on the regional cultural scene and enhances its international visibility.
