At this threshold of the new year, as the celebrations that remind us of the value of sharing and light conclude, we would like to thank you. The year that died saved no one. Insecurity has woven its shadow on our streets and our consciences. Hunger, this ancestral injustice that we thought was relegated to the pages of history, strikes again at our doors with violence that reminds us of our collective fragility. Political tensions have shaken our certainty, sowing doubt where we expected to find benchmarks.
And yet.
Yet you're still here. You read, you question, you think. In this simple gesture of clicking on an article, there is an act of magnificent resistance: that of refusing resignation, of choosing to understand rather than to suffer, of seeking light even when the night seems to thicken.
This is the flame we want to feed in 2026. Not naive hope that closes its eyes to difficulties, but that lucid and combative hope that knows how to see the real in face while refusing to give up. Hope that rises every morning, even when everything seems to be flickering. The hope that is built in the daily gestures of solidarity, in the initiatives that germinate in the heart of the neighbourhoods, in the hands that extend beyond divisions.
