Port-au-Prince, 10 September 2025.- The State University of Haiti (UEH) announced, via a note published on Tuesday 9 September, the start of the distribution of SIM cards for students benefiting from the program « UEH Net Students ».
Officially launched on Monday, September 1, this programme aims to facilitate access by UEH students to digital services and to strengthen their academic support. The Directorate of Student Life (DVE) is responsible for implementation and monitoring.
The distribution of SIM cards begins this Wednesday, 10 September, in the various entities of the UEH, under the direct supervision of the DVE. The lists of beneficiaries, prepared and validated by the entities and forwarded to the Vice-Rectorate for Academic Affairs, form the sole basis of this operation.
To remove their card, students must submit a valid HEU student card. However, special provisions are made for those who have not yet received their cards so that they can regularize their situation and integrate the programme.
The Rectorate of the UEH, through the DVE, reaffirms its willingness to accompany students throughout their academic career and calls for the collaboration of all to ensure a transparent, organized and efficient distribution.
With the implementation of the programme « UEH Net Students»The EUH is taking an important step in the integration of digital in higher education. The success of this initiative will depend on good coordination between the officials and the involvement of the beneficiary students.
