Jacmel, 27 June 2025.- In the presence of political, judicial, MDE and civil society officials, Mr. Miracle Colin was officially installed this Friday as Deputy Departmental Director of Southeast Defence. The ceremony was held in the conference room of the tourist wharf of Jacmel.
In his speech of circumstance, Mr. Colin expressed gratitude to the Defence authorities for the trust placed in him, calling his appointment a great honour, while stressing the weight of the responsibilities that flow from it.
The new number 2 of the Ministry of Defence in the South-East committed itself to working closely with the Departmental Director, Mr. Josué Lohier, in strict respect of the hierarchy and guidance of the Director General. He promised to serve with rigour, discipline and proximity, in a national context marked by instability, social tensions and security challenges.
The ceremony was chaired by Polyanna Domond, Coordinator of the Departmental Directorates of Defence Unit in the South East. It encouraged the new official to invest fully in his mission. « We have a department to save, a soil to protect, a flag and a land to safeguard. Make sure you're not thrown into the trash of history », did she make a firm tone.
Speaking in turn, Mr. Josué Lohier, Departmental Director of Defence, reaffirmed his commitment to forming a dynamic, responsible and determined team to effectively carry out the Ministry's mission in the Region.
It should be noted that the citizen Sheebly Payen was also presented to the audience as a consultant at the Institution.
