Port-au-Prince, December 16, 2025.- The President of the Transitional Presidential Council, Laurent Saint Cyr, and Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé presided over the official ceremony for the presentation of the end-of-year vows at the Villa d'Accommodation on Tuesday, 16 December. In front of the major State clerks and the Diplomatic Corps, they reiterated the commitment of the transitional authorities to restore security and create the conditions for free, inclusive and credible elections.
The ceremony of presentation of the vows at the end of the year was held at the Villa d'Accommodation, in strict respect of protocol usages. It brought together the members of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT), the President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), senior officials of the public administration, as well as representatives of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps accredited in Haiti.
In his speech, the President of the CPT, Laurent Saint Cyr, stressed the institutional scope of the mandate given to the transitional authorities. He reaffirmed their determination to work towards the establishment of the political, security and institutional conditions necessary for the organization of democratic elections, in accordance with the rule of law and republican principles. The Head of State also stressed the continuity of the State and the primacy of the public interest in public action, particularly in the area of security and national stability.
For his part, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé presented his wishes to the institutional and diplomatic partners. It reiterated the Government ' s commitment to ensure the security of persons and property, to promote an enabling environment for the electoral process and to support the return to constitutional order based on popular legitimacy.
The Head of Government also expressed the gratitude of the Haitian authorities to the international community for its support, while reaffirming the commitment to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation, while respecting national sovereignty.
This solemn ceremony thus served as a framework for a message of institutional and diplomatic cohesion, marking the willingness of the authorities to lead the transition with responsibility, transparency and commitment to democratic values.
