Port-au-Prince, July 30, 2025.- In a notice released on July 29, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), an institution responsible for regulating money transfer and mobile payments services, recalls that only banks, transfer houses, and Suppliers of Electronic Payment Services (PSS) or deposit financial institution are authorized to provide these services to users, in accordance with the provisions of Circular #121 on electronic payment services.
In addition, with a view to transparency, consumer protection and stability in the financial sector, BRH makes available the list of duly authorised transfer houses and PSFs on its official website: www.brh.ht.
It should be stressed that sanctions are also reserved for institutions acting outside the established principles.
