Port-au-Prince, June 21, 2026.- The Ministry of Tourism and UN Tourism opens the way this June to twenty young Haitians wishing to improve in the tourism field thanks to a fully funded scholarship program. For students and young professionals under 35 years of age, these specialized training courses will be offered online over a period of four to five weeks and will cover several essential aspects of the modern tourism industry.
This initiative is part of efforts to build the capacity of human resources to contribute to the development of tourism in Haiti. Beneficiaries will have access to training in the areas of tourism industry management, tourism and travel rights, digital trends, innovation, territorial marketing and rural tourism development.
According to the established criteria, candidates must be academic or hold at least one degree in areas such as management, marketing or the humanities and social sciences. They will also have to demonstrate a clear interest in the tourism sector. Mastering a foreign language will be an advantage when assessing files.
Applicants are invited to submit an updated curriculum vitae, a copy of their diploma, a copy of their NIN and a cover letter. Applications will be received exclusively online via the platform made available by the Ministry of Tourism.
Through this programme, the tourist authorities intend to encourage the emergence of a skilled workforce capable of supporting the modernisation of the sector and participating in the exploitation of the country's tourism potential. For the young people concerned, this is an opportunity to benefit from free international training while developing skills in a constantly changing industry.
