Port-au-Prince, August 20, 2026.- The National Old Age Insurance Office (ONA) launched, on August 17, a one-month internship programme for students residing in Haiti, under the National Internship Programme 2025-2026 established by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST). Interested candidates must submit a cover letter, an updated curriculum vitae and several supporting documents.
For a period of one month, the programme aims to provide young people with an initial work experience. It must also enable them to become more familiar with the social security professions in Haiti and to strengthen their professional skills.
Trainees will be assigned to the various units of the ONA and will be supervised during their training period. Their career path will be assessed, including their work skills, adaptability, innovation and effectiveness.
In order to participate, applicants must prepare a cover letter addressed to the Directorate-General of ONA, an updated curriculum vitae, copies of their diplomas, certificates or certificates of completion, and a copy of their National Identification Card (NIC).
Through this programme, the ONA intends to contribute to the training of young people and their socio-occupational integration by offering them experience directly linked to the functioning of a social security institution.
