Port-au-Prince, February 19, 2026.- The National Office of Life Insurance (ONA) is taking a major step in implementing its Career Development Plan. Since the installation of the Career Management and Training Unit (UGCF) in August 2025, 233 employees have been promoted, 230 files are being finalized and several managers are already benefiting from advanced training opportunities. A reform that marks a turning point in the management of human capital within the institution.
Located on 26 August 2025 at the initiative of Director General Ronald Bazile, the UGCF has moved from planning to action. Within a few months, the unit had concrete results: 233 promotions, 230 cases in the final processing phase, and four changes in administrative status.
The training component is also a strategic focus. Eight applications for Master's scholarships were analysed: six were selected for relevance and alignment with institutional requirements, while two were rejected. In this way, LUNA intends to direct investment in training towards specific modernisation and performance objectives.
Through this dynamic, the institution initiates a structural transformation aimed at better structuring career paths, valuing skills and introducing more proactive talent management. The Career Development Plan is part of a sustainable vision to enhance efficiency and equity in the public service.
