Port-au-Prince, December 11, 2025.- The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) launched the second cohort of the Women's Entrepreneurship Support Project (FEAP) in an official call for expressions of interest published on 9 December 2025. Registration is open until 31 December 2025. Through this initiative, the Ministry intends to identify, support and finance women-led businesses, while encouraging innovative projects that can strengthen their presence in the national economy and have a lasting impact in their communities.
The MCI targets both already active companies and ideas for projects that can have a real impact in their communities. Priority sectors include agriculture, livestock, fisheries, industrial processing, crafts, recycling, manufacturing, tourism, technology and logistics. The challenge is to support sustainable, value-added income-generating initiatives that can strengthen the presence of women at the heart of national economic activity.
To guide this support effectively, the Ministry is implementing several eligibility criteria. Candidates must be entrepreneurs or promoters of an innovative project, have a structure based in Haiti and not benefit from another MCI program. The registration process, opened from 9 to 31 December 2025, is conducted exclusively online via a business plan template available on the Ministry's website. The system automatically records the document once it has been completed, which clearly facilitates participation.
With the launch of this second cohort of the EFP, the MCI aims to strengthen women's economic inclusion and support initiatives that have a direct impact within communities. Through this call, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to fostering an environment conducive to women's innovation and the development of local businesses.
