Port-au-Prince, July 3, 2025.- On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT) announced an innovative platform for the centralization of tax data, aimed at modernizing the Haitian tax administration. This initiative, the result of collaborative work between the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) and the General Administration of Customs (AGD), promises to transform the management of tax revenues in Haiti.

The new platform, called DSI Connect, represents a significant step forward in centralizing tax information. It now brings together all data from the ADG, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) and other institutional partners, thus eliminating traditional information silos that hindered efficiency.

Real-time data sharing

One of the main advantages of this platform is the possibility of sharing tax information in real time. This puts an end to delays and gaps, ensuring perfect synchronization between all the institutions concerned.

In addition, the platform also offers a secure system through advanced encryption protocols, ensuring the protection of the integrity and confidentiality of strategic tax data.

The platform will be deployed in several stages. After the initial launch on July 1, 2025, an intelligent chatbot will be launched in mid-July. This virtual assistant will be available 24 hours a day to answer tax questions from taxpayers and professionals, using artificial intelligence to provide personalized answers.

In August 2025, an analytical portal powered by Power BI will be open to licensed companies and institutions, allowing for in-depth consultation and analysis of tax data with interactive visualizations.

This initiative aims to bring several benefits, such as:

– Total Transparency: Increased visibility on public financial flows and tax performance;
– Optimization of Revenues: Improved collection and tracking of tax revenues through real-time data;
– Operational effectiveness: Reduction of processing times and access to tax information;
– Citizen Service: Improvement of taxpayer experience.

This transformation is part of the CPT's vision to modernize the Haitian state. It is a milestone towards the digitisation of public administration, the fight against corruption through improved traceability and the improvement of the business climate.
