Port-au-Prince, March 16, 2026.- The platform "Le Scientifique", founded by Marc-Donald Vincent, received the Honor and Merit award awarded by the Association Haiti Sciences et Société (HaSci-So), on Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Cap-Haitien. This recognition recognizes the platform's contribution to the promotion and dissemination of scientific thought in Haiti.
The award was presented at a ceremony held in Cap-Haitien, in the presence of several figures from the Haitian scientific world, including Dr.Evens Emmanuel and Dr.Bénédique Paul, two researchers recognized for their scientific production and their commitment to the development of knowledge in Haiti.
According to the leaders of the Association Haiti Sciences et Société, this distinction aims to underline the importance of the work carried out by the platform The Scientist in the extension of science and the promotion of an intellectual culture based on rigour, critical reflection and dissemination of knowledge.
For its founder Marc-Donald Vincent, this recognition is both an encouragement and a responsibility. He affirms that the platform will continue to work to make science accessible to as many people as possible and contribute to the sustainable development of Haitian society through the promotion of knowledge.
