The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Raina Forbin, met this Wednesday, March 18, 2026, with the United States official in Haiti, Henry T. Wooster, on the priorities of the transition. Discussions focused on the restoration of security, the deployment of the Gang Law Enforcement Force (GRF) and the organization of the upcoming elections.
Both officials also addressed security cooperation, migration issues and ongoing reforms, as well as regional dialogue. The head of Haitian diplomacy praised Washington's support and reaffirmed the government's commitment to restore the constitutional order and stability of the country.
