Born on December 14, 2001 at the Hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH), Jeanty grew up between Delmas 18, Delmas 24 and Bon-Repos. Very early, faced with social inequalities, she nurtured the ambition to become a lawyer. After high school at Dominique Savio College and the Congregational School Daughter of Mary of Christ the King, she flew to Chile in 2015.
In her interview with Magik 9, she recounts her difficult beginnings, her integration as the only Haitian student at the Autonomous University of Chile, then her first academic successes, including the best degree in introduction to law. The Covid-19 pandemic complicates her career, but she persists and obtains her diploma with a remarkable memory on migration and family reunification.
In August 2025, after intense preparation, she passed the Chilean Bar Examination and with the perfect score of 7 out of 7, a first for a Haitian woman. She can now plead in civil cases and plans to specialize in migration or international law.
Engaged with the Haitian community and active in Chilean organizations, Shelenchie Rose Naïka Jeanty illustrates the ability of Haitian youth to impose across borders, despite obstacles. His journey, shared on Magik 9, is already a source of inspiration for many young people.
