Port-au-Prince, July 11, 2035.- The Haitian Prime Minister, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, left the country this Friday, July 11 for an official mission to the United States. This visit is part of the active diplomacy initiated by his Government, with the aim of strengthening bilateral partnerships around three national priorities: security, economic recovery and support for the electoral process.

Accompanied by a delegation composed notably of the Secretary of State for Public Security, Mario Andrésol, the head of government will meet several senior American officials. It intends to mobilize international support to address the multiple challenges facing Haiti, in a context of security, institutional and socio-economic crisis.

Security cooperation, particularly in the face of rising armed violence, will be at the heart of the discussions. The Prime Minister will also seek commitments to sustainable economic projects, while reaffirming his commitment to holding free, honest, democratic and inclusive elections to restore constitutional order.

This diplomatic displacement is presented by the Executive as a strategic step in the recovery of the country. The Prime Minister is expected in Port-au-Prince on July 17, 2025, while his Government reaffirms its determination to lead Haiti towards stability, prosperity and democracy.
