Dubai, 29 December 2025.- On the occasion of « Globe Soccer Awards 2025 », two world sports giants, Cristiano Ronaldo and Novak Djokovic, were gathered on stage in a major sequence of the ceremony. The Portuguese football icon gave Serbian tennis star the brand new Globe Sports Award, thus welcoming Djokovic's outstanding career.
In an atmosphere of mutual respect, the two champions exchanged on their journeys, longevity and future goals, during an exclusive interview with CNN's Amanda Davies.
Cristiano Ronaldo, still active at the age of 40, has affirmed his will to reach the symbolic bar of 1,000 career goals, an ambitious personal goal that demonstrates his unbroken determination. Novak Djokovic, for his part, continues to push the limits of world tennis with a 25th Grand Slam title, which would further strengthen his status as the most titrated player in history.
This encounter between two living legends of sport has brought to light the common values that drive them: discipline, passion and the constant desire to surpass each other. Their exchange also recalled that, despite their different disciplines, they share a common quest for excellence and records.
