Port-au-Prince, 10 September 2025.- Two frequency jamming devices for anti-drone systems and one antenna were intercepted in a container arriving from the United States , announced the General Customs Administration (AGD) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The sensitive material was immediately entrusted to the National Police of Haiti (PNH) for investigation.

Jean Joseph Gracia, Director of Control at the ADG, confirmed during an interview on Magik 9 that the exporting company, the buyer and the final recipient of the equipment were clearly identified by the control services. All cargo documents were transmitted to the competent authorities for further investigation.

This operation is part of the DFA's strategy to protect the national territory and prevent the illegal entry of sensitive equipment that could pose a security threat.

On the sidelines of this announcement, Mr Gracia recalled that customs revenues have increased significantly over the past two years. In his view, it was possible to achieve this through fairer taxation, in line with international standards, and greater control over goods.
