Port-au-Prince, October 2, 2025.- Guest of the conference organised this Wednesday, October 1, by the Club Uniq Inclusion under the chairmanship of Mrs Mirlande Osner and the Directorate of Student Affairs (DAE) of Quisqueya University, journalist GorGes Allen delivered a strong message: « Self-consciousness is the gateway, self-acceptance the antechamber, and self-exceeding the destination ». For him, only this internal progression can enable young people to build their trust and impose themselves in a competitive professional environment.

The Quisqueya University Library (UNIQ) hosted a conference on the theme « Self-acceptance and self-confidence: pillars of personal and professional growth », bringing together five speakers, including Johanne Landrin, Anédie Azael Doura and GeorGes Allen.

In his speech and then in an interview with InfoNation, GeorGes Allen insisted on a three-step approach: self-consciousness, self-acceptance and self-exhaustion.

« We accept ourselves to surpass ourselves »he strongly summarized, recalling that « without self-acceptance, no improved version of yourself is possible ».

According to him, self-consciousness allows us to discover his deep identity, his strengths, his weaknesses and his belonging to humanity: « Nothing human is foreign to us. We are capable of miracles ».

Self-acceptance, second step, is a passage required to escape the « culture » and « self-denial »amplified by social networks. Accepting its limits, its fragility, but also its differences, is the prerequisite for engaging in a process of transformation.

Finally, self-exceeding is the ultimate objective. Allen invited students to work tirelessly on themselves: « Every man, every woman is a great work to build. Time is the only rarity: if you waste your time, you get lost ».

To young people looking for confidence, he launched a vibrant appeal: « Even if you have degrees, without confidence, you become nothing. Work every day to be a better version of yourself. The summit is never the end, that's where the ascent begins. »

This conference, marked by rich and inspiring exchanges, confirmed the mission of the Club Uniq Inclusion: awakening consciousness, building confidence and forming a youth capable of overcoming themselves to build a better future.
