Belize, 30 November 2025.- Haiti's National Women's Team signed a frantic entry into the 2027 Women's World Cup playoffs, inflicting a heavy 9.0 defeat in Belize this Sunday on Group D's 1st day.
From the first half, the Grenadières imposed their rhythm with an impressive offensive performance. Nérilia Mondésir stood out by entering a triple (12th, 18th, 32nd), launching her team to a win without a call. Batcheba Louis (13th) and Roseline Éloissent (43rd) also participated in this offensive festival, allowing Haiti to return to the changing rooms with a comfortable 5-0 lead.
In the second period, the Haitians did not release the pressure and added four new goals, definitively sealing the outcome of the match on a 9.00 point-out score and confirming their status as group favourites.
This victory propels Haiti to lead Group D and sends a strong message to the other teams involved in the competition. The Grenadières begin their qualifying campaign with authority, confidence and ambition.
