Port-au-Prince, September 2, 2025.- Suspended for several months, this Tuesday, September 2, Rony Colin, founder and general manager of Radio Télé Zenith, announced on the X network (ex-Twitter) the upcoming revival of its station, promising a return « more robust, sharper than ever ».
Without doing politics, he claims to work for what is good for him, his family and his country, and reiterates Zenith's mission: to be the voice of the voiceless, a space of truth and popular demands.
« Zenith was there, he will always be there, with the same mission: to serve the Haitian people! » Did he write.
Rony Colin also appealed for courage in the face of pressure on independent media, reaffirming his determination. He thanked his listeners, friends as detractors, and God for the protection of his family.
Radio Télé Zenith's management had been suspended for several months, and had already stopped broadcasting several times between 2020 and 2022. A station with strong political orientation and known for its fierce opposition to the Moses administration, it had ceased to function because of the widespread unrest and insecurity that ravaged the country.
