Port-au-Prince, 21 November 2025. The President of IIA-Haiti, Nathanaël Jean-Louis, confirmed this Friday, at the microphone of Magik 9, the holding of the 12th edition of Audit Week, which will take place from November 24 to 28, 2025 in Port-au-Prince. Placed under the theme « Challenges and opportunities for Haiti and its institutions »The event aims to strengthen governance and oversight practices within public and private organizations.
Building on the success of the previous edition, the IIA-Haiti renews this appointment, which has become a must for audit, internal control and risk management professionals. According to Mr. Jean-Louis: « There can be no good audit without development »recalling the urgent need to rethink institutional practices in a complex national context.
Audit Week will offer a rich and varied programme: inaugural conference, high-level panels, conference of audit leaders, job discovery workshops, student orientation day and online training seminars. More than 300 participants are expected, notably during the day of initiation to the audit professions, during which the IIA-Haiti will launch its student membership program.
Since its creation, Audit Week has already brought together more than 60 experts around some 30 major topics, consolidating a space for dialogue between public institutions, private companies and civil society actors. The 2025 edition will continue this dynamic to support organizations in improving their governance practices and contribute to building a more responsible and sustainable state.
