Montreal, October 24, 2025.- The Ambassador of Haiti to Canada, His Excellency Anthony Dessources, took part on Sunday, October 19, at the launch ceremony of "Dimensions Femmes", a non-profit organization founded by Haitian women in Montreal. The initiative aims to promote the careers of exceptional black women and to encourage school retention among young people from the diaspora.
In the presence of several political figures, community leaders and many members of the Haitian diaspora, the launch of "Dimensions Femmes" marked a moment of pride and commitment in Montreal. Led by Ms. Darnly Dubois, the organization works to strengthen the position of women in Quebec and Canadian society through education, culture, health and even politics.
This initiative highlights the inspiring paths of Haitian women who actively contribute to the public and social life of Canada, breaking barriers and conveying values of solidarity and excellence.
The presence of Ambassador Anthony Dessources at the ceremony attests to the continued support of the Haitian state for the diaspora's efforts to promote the image of Haiti beyond its borders. In a message of congratulations, the Embassy of Haiti in Canada praised the work of the team of "Dimensions Women" and encouraged the continuation of this inspiring mission to promote women's leadership.
