Port-au-Prince, August 9, 2025.- Freshly installed at the head of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Mr.Andre Jonas Vladimir Paraison is already making changes within the high command of the Institution. Several managers were redeployed to posts deemed strategic.
According to information provided by the Deputy Spokesman of the PNH, Lionel Lazarre, several appointments have been made: Inspector General Berson Soljour becomes Chief of Staff of the Director General, Inspector General Jacques Joël Orival takes over from the Central Directorate of Administrative Police (DCPA), Inspector General Alain Auguste is appointed to head the Central Directorate of Administration and General Services (DCASG), while the Divisionary Commissioner Fernel Saintil is now the new Director of the Directorate of Logistics, Technical Organization of the DCPA.
In September 2020, under Jovenel Moïse's presidency, Berson Soljour had been appointed head of the DCPA. He previously held the position of Departmental Director of the Western PNH under the direction of DG Normil Rameau.
Normil Rameau, for his part, appointed Alain Auguste in 2024 as Director of the DCPA, as part of a strategy to strengthen the fight against banditry, according to the statements of the authorities of the time.
