Tabarre, 4 July 2025.- The American Embassy in Haiti celebrated this Friday, July 4, the 249th anniversary of the independence of the United States, in its premises, located in Tabarre.
This celebration brought together the President of the Presidential Council of Transition (CPT), Fritz Alphonse Jean, Prime Minister, Mr. Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, members of the Government, diplomatic representatives, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Mr. Rameau Normil, the Commander-in-Chief of the Multinational Mission of Support in Haiti (MSS), Godfrey Otunge and other personalities.
On this occasion, the United States Chargé d'affaires in Port-au-Prince, Ambassador Henry T. Wooster, took the opportunity to thank Haiti for the welcome reserved for him.
Through their presence, the President of the CPT, Fritz Alphonse Jean, and the Head of Government, Mr. Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, wanted to reaffirm their commitment to the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between Haiti and the United States.
