Jacmel, June 13, 2025.- The departmental directorate of the South-East police presented this Friday à la presse Saint Jean Melchior, alias “Toto” âgé de 44 ans, identifié comme un membre actif du gang criminel « Tèt Frèt « , basé à Kenscoff, commune de Pétion-ville.
Selon l’inspecteur divisionnaire Dieucibon Jeudi, porte-parole de la police du Sud-Est, Melchior a été arrêté le mercredi 11 juin dans la localité de Baie d’Orange, grâce à la collaboration des résidents de la zone. Lors de sa première audition par le Service Départemental de la Police Judiciaire (SDPJ), le suspect a reconnu son appartenance au gang « Tèt Frèt « , dirigé par son cousin Dieunourel alias “Ansyen”.
D’après les déclarations recueillies par la police, « Tèt Frèt » serait une branche du puissant gang « Izo 5 Segonde « , connu pour ses activités criminelles dans les zones de Kenscoff, Carrefour-Badio et Timiska entre autres. Ce groupe se spécialisent notamment dans les cas d’enlèvement, viols et vols à mains armées.
