Port-au-Prince, 13 January 2026.- The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) published on Monday, January 12, 2026, the official list of 29 beneficiaries of the first cohort of the Women's Entrepreneurship Program (FEAP) for the Greater South and the Greater North.
The lists, recorded in official signed and sealed documents, with images published, detail the companies and initiatives chosen, their legal status, the identity of the promoters and the sectors of activity concerned. These sectors cover a wide range of fields, from agro-processing to agriculture, beekeeping, crafts, carpentry, services, industrial processing and food production.
Through this initiative, the MCI aims to strengthen women's participation in economic life, support projects with high job creation potential and encourage the emergence of a dynamic female entrepreneurial fabric, both in urban and rural areas.
If the publication of the list is an encouraging first step, the real effectiveness of the EFP will be measured by the jobs created and the economic activities actually revived on the ground. The next few months will be crucial to assess whether this program will deliver on its promises of inclusive recovery in a fragile economic and security environment.
